The new Material Recovery Facility for Groot Industries in Plainfield features a 76,800 sf leading-edge facility includes areas for baler storage, tipping floor and processing.  Serving the local community, the Plainfield MRF is the fourth facility MHC has built for Groot with previous locations in Plano, Round Lake Park and Elk Grove Village.  Design-build project team includes Aptim, Harris Architects and Pinnacle Engineering. Groot Industries, Inc. is the largest independent solid waste management services provider in the State of Illinois.
