Senior Project Manager

Provide overall management direction for multiple Project Managers, manage multiple projects or more large projects and develop new business opportunities relative to a particular client, group of clients or geographical area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct the request for bids for specific work scopes from subcontractors, review bids and select subcontractors accordingly, in collaboration with VP.
  • Initiate and maintain liaison with prime clients and subcontractors to facilitate construction activities.
  • Represent company in project meetings.
  • Manage financial aspects of contract and all other construction documentation (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with client.
  • Makes decisions and recommendations that can greatly impact corporate relationship with client and profitability of project that he or his reports manage. Acts without close supervision.
  • Review and coordinate shop drawings with contract documents.
  • Perform additional strategic initiatives, per the supervisor’s direction.
  • Occasional estimating.

Project Manager

Provide overall management direction for two or more mid-size and small size projects and assist Senior Project Managers and Team Leaders with proposal development and project administration and Team Leaders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Request bids for specific work scopes from subcontractors, review bids and select subcontractors accordingly, in collaboration with VPC.
  • Initiate and maintain liaison with prime clients and subcontractors to facilitate construction activities.
  • Represent company in project meetings.
  • Manage project communications through Procore.
  • Manage, with little assistance, financial aspects of contract and all other construction documentation (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with client.
  • Review and coordinate shop drawings with contract documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, per the supervisor’s direction.
  • Occasional estimating.

Qualifications:

  • Effectively manages a project, small to mid-range size, from start to finish with minimal supervision.
  • Proves input and support in sales efforts.
  • Manages cost and schedule projections with little assistance.
  • Demonstrates good organizational skills.
  • Shows good judgement in project conflict resolution with some supervision.
  • Can prioritize and manage resources with minimal assistance.

Assistant Project Manager

Participates in overall management direction for two or more assigned projects and assists higher level project managers with project administration and proposal development. Coordinate key field positions with project superintended and/or Field Coordinator on small projects. Learn and utilize project systems, policies, procedure, and performance standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of team lead, analyze and prepare bid analysis, request bids for specific work scopes from subcontractors, review bids and select subcontractors accordingly.
  • Manage project communications through Procore.
  • Learn to initiate and maintain liaison with project clients and subcontractors to facilitate construction activities. 
  • Learn to manage financial aspects of contracts and all other construction documentation (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with client.
  • Assist with reviewing and coordinating shop drawings with contract documents.
  • Perform additional assignments per the supervisor’s direction.
  • Assist with assembling all necessary permit information.
  • Manage punch list completion and assist in compiling closeout package.
  • Occasional estimating.

Qualifications:

  • Provides assistance and input to Project Managers and Team Leaders as assigned.
  • Has an understanding of project cost and schedule projection, is learning systems with supervision.
  • Demonstrates good organizational skills.
  • Beginning to allocate resources, is learning prioritization.

Estimator

Perform high level of duties by managing incoming and outgoing estimates, bids, and proposals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed estimates and outline specifications.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and generate cost estimates.
  • Solicit and procure subcontractors and suppliers for bids.
  • Prepare project cost breakdowns and keep current with construction costs, building codes and architectural/engineering standards.
  • Understand market factors, commodity pricing, and material prices and their influence on construction cost.
  • Support project team during the design and development of each project’s construction documents.
  • Design coordination with the Architect, Civil Engineer, MEP trades, etc.
  • Track and maintain historical bid data.
  • Maintain estimating software pricing with current market.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Detail orientation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under strict deadlines
  • Must have ability to perform duties accurately and rapidly under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 (five) years of progressive related experience as a General Contractor Estimator
  • Proficiency with On-Screen Take-Off/PlanSwift software
  • Conceptual estimating experience
  • Design-build experience in MEPFP trade
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project Management
  • Must have great organization skills
  • Ability to work with a team to achieve goals
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
